Downtown Atlanta Is Where It’s At
The downtown Atlanta area continues to explode, and it’s becoming one of the hottest Intown real estate markets.
According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle over $4 Billion has been invested in downtown Atlanta over the past 10 years and there is currently another $4 Billion planned for development or already under construction.
I’m not surprised by this boom, downtown Atlanta is a hidden gem with tons to offer; such as fantastic restaurants, cultural experiences, a major university, a brand new stadium, and some amazing history.
Businesses and real estate developers are taking notice. According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Corporations like NCR and Anthem are making significant financial investments downtown. Additionally, Atlanta’s thriving start-up scene has invested in a large shared workspace for local B2C start-ups called Switchyards Downtown Club.
What’s more, with business development, comes some attractive residential developments, one of note is the renovation of the old Norfolk Southern building, located in South Downtown on Spring St. According to Curbed Atlanta, the building will be renovated in 246 residential spaces and approximately 50,000 sq ft of retail space.
This development will connect to one of my favorite downtown neighborhoods, Castleberry Hill.
The real estate in the Castleberry Hill neighborhood is hot right now, it offers the best proximity to Downtown but with an urban neighborhood feel. If you are looking for property in downtown I highly recommend Castleberry Hill.
The above image is an immaculate modern 3,200 sq ft loft I recently listed, located right in the heart of the Castleberry Hill neighborhood, it’s the perfect opportunity to experience downtown living at it’s best. See full listing here.
